A special tray is made from measurement of teeth. This tray is filled with whitening gel and applied for few hours in 4/5 sittings. Orelse whitening gel is applied on tooth surface which is exposed to special type of light for a brighter smile.
2. TOOTH COLOURED FILLING (COMPOSITE):
In earlier days amalgam i.e silver colour filling was used in decayed tooth. It is not appreciable astetically whereas composite is white in colour and after filling a cavity it looks like natural tooth. It even requires conservative tooth preparation and not a wide preparation. It is used to coverup cracked tooth or chipped of tooth. It is used to fill in small gaps between teeth.
3. PORCELAIN VENEERS:
Porcelain veneers/laminates are thin, strong shell that adhere to visible surface of the tooth. It improves the colour, size and shape of the tooth. This treatment is mostly used for improving the appearance of the smile.
4. DENTAL CROWNS:
A dental crown also know as dental cap is given over a decayed or damaged tooth. These crowns can keep a weakened tooth from breaking or used cosmetically to cover a discoloured tooth.
5. MALALIGNED OR CROWDED TOOTH:
When teeth are protruded, retruded, crowded or malaligned it dose’nt look good astetically. So it can be corrected by veneers,crowns or bridges.
